Here it is February and time is getting away from me as usual.
Too much to do in too little time. That is all I can say.
But I did get a lunch bag done for a friend.
This is the bag I made. It is made of linen and cotton with Insul-Bright for batting.
The pattern was taken after Insulated Lunch Bag pattern in the book Sewing With Oilcloth by Kelly McCants. I used the pattern but not the oilcloth or the laminated cloth as I did not have the proper sewing machine foot to use with that type of fabric. The pattern worked out very well. I used a magnetic snap for the closure and I made a fabric covered strap in stead of plain uncovered webbing.
The lunch bag has plenty of room for lots of lunch goodies for you and for your office mates.
I added pockets to the inside for plastic silverware, napkins, teabags, sweeteners, etc.
To all those in the cold and snow - stay safe and warm. Let us hope that the ground hog predicts and early spring. You deserve it.
Enjoy! Sew Lots and Lots!
Have a super great sewing and stitching day!
