I had the most wonderful opportunity to visit Anne at Batiks by the Bay during the month of May.
(Yes, I know, I am a bit - actually a lot - late in blogging about it.)
I was one super lucky lady. I got to visit with a super great lady.
We exchanged gifts. My gifts to Anne were posted here.
Anne gave me a wonderful table runner made from batiks in some of my favorite colors.
I have placed it on my black counter top to brighten it up a bit, make it look not so dark.
It works very well and I love it. I love the yellows and teals together. It is very refreshing on my counter top. Great design as well.
Anne is a super great gal. We share a love of quilting and stitching.
She gave me this wonderful, wonderful drawstring bag along with a matching needle book complete with pockets on the inside for your scissors, threads, and other accessories you need to carry with you and a matching pincushion. The pincushion also has a pocket on the back.
I just love these, love the colors, and love the fabrics.
Speaking of the fabric, Anne says I gave her the fabric, the pink fabric, I think. The thing is - I don't remember giving it to her. (I am shaking my head,) It must have been a fabric that worked better in her hands than in mine.
The flower in the fabric is the Waratah. Learn more about it here. See more images of the Waratah here. It is a very pretty plant.
Be the best you can be!
Have a super great sewing and stitching day!
