For Baby

My son's friends have a new baby boy who has a big sister so I made quilts.

Pinwheels and Airplanes for the new baby boy.
I made this from a kit with Thirties prints and white tone on tone fabric.
I made the pinwheels multicolored hopefully to give a look of the pinwheels twirling in the wind.
Airplanes come from the airplanes that are in the green and yellow prints.
It turned out a lot brighter and happier than I thought it was going to.

This is the doll quilt.
I used scraps from the quilt I made when this big sister was born.
It is a scaled down version of this quilt from Moda Bake Shop

I am afraid that I do not have very good pictures.

Enjoy!

Have a super great sewing and stitching day!

  3. They're both great. The baby is getting a lovely quilt, and his big sister will love having a doll quilt to match her own.
