The name is Mexican Stars and designed by Annette Ornelas at Southwind Designs http://www.southwindquilts,com/ I bought the fabric and took a one person class for this pattern at Zoe's Trunk in Arizona. In March of 2006 I entered the quilt in the Arizona Quilters Guild yearly quilt show. And...much to my surprise I took a third place ribbon. The quilt now hangs in my bedroom.
Mexican stars is one of many favorite quilts.
Have a great day and I hope the sun is shining where you are.
